I grew up in the 80′s, so, needless to say, I watched a lot of Scooby Doo and listened to the great tunes of the 80′s on the radio. Casey Kasem was a fixture of my childhood. His top 40 countdown was a staple on the weekends while I did my chores, and who could imagine the Saturday morning cartoons without Scooby and his best bud Shaggy Rogers. Hearing about Casey Kasem’s passing this last weekend really hit home. His soothing voice was so easy to listen too; there will never be another like him. Until we hear your sweet voice again, “Keep your feet on the ground, and keep reaching for the stars!” -Casey Kasem
